Wilnie Keara Hunter is a self-taught chef, entrepreneur, and educator. Chef Hunter is a native of Port-au-Prince, Haiti, where she first discovered her interest in cooking. Later on, she developed an increasing passion for food and foodservice which led her to start Kreyol Flavors. Thanks to her heritage and having spent most of her life in Queens, New York, Caribbean, and Latin flavors play a major role in Chef Hunter's style of cooking: "fresh, savory and in your face!" as she would say it.
